This is the evening for you that want to get an introduction to Git and Github – the most commonly used platform for collaboration and working in team with code. During the evening GitHub will give a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to start collaborate with others in teams when writing code, gain confidence in using GitHub and understand what open source is and how you can contribute. No prior skills or knowledge is needed.
The event takes place at beautiful Norrsken house in Stockholm and food and drinks will be served. We will end the evening with an inspiration lightening talk by Annie Thorell – developer and teacher of Tjejer Kodar.
You will be able to go at your own pace, with the help of mentors nearby in case you run into any trouble. Join us for a night of hacking and snacking and make some new friends while you're at it!
This is for complete beginners, this is an introduction to GitHub and no prior skills are needed. You have probably heard of GitHub before and want to learn how to start using it.
The event is free of charge and will be held at Norrsken house in Stockholm.We will provide food and refreshments. If you have any food allergies, please let us know during registration.
